When walking through the park, a tree with a squirrel in it asks you for a favor. Do you grant it?

Now, imagine walking through a park on a brightly moonlit evening and the same tree, sans squirrel, asks you a question. Do you answer it?

Same tree, different scenario; now it is a foggy night and the tree seems to be catching a cold, thus making it's voice seem to be a little more menacing. It asks you to take one of it's branches and make a walking stick from it. Will you?

Okay, now you are on the other side of the park, and you see the squirrel. The squirrel asks you where you got your walking stick. Do you answer honestly?
