With the weather in the mid-70s, and the mighty Timber Rattlers in town, we went to the ballpark. Not just any ballpark, but Elfstrom Stadium the home of the Kane County Cougars a single A team that is affiliated with the Oakland Athletics. Many a MLB professional has passed through our little ballpark in Geneva, Illinois - a mere five miles from home.
The only downer was the Cougars losing to the Timber Rattlers 7-5.
It was still a great evening though!
