I was very happy...I am totally with you 100%, man! I was very happy to hear of Scott Brown's victory because Congress was obviously not listening to all the emails, voicemails, faxes, letters, or rallys. Now that the people of Massachusetts have voted-in someone who DOES listen to the people, the rest of us Americans have a fighting chance at Congress coming up with some REAL reform that will lower health care costs and allow more people to get coverage. Like tort reform (including "loser pays"), insurance purchasing across state lines to increase competition, more medical flex/savings plans to help off-set non-covered medical costs, and no mandates stating "hey, your coverage needs to be at least this, and if it's not, you need to buy the gov't plan that costs more than what you were already paying, and if you don't buy it, we'll hit ya with a fine, and if you don't pay the fine because you can't afford it (or feel it's unconstitutional), we'll jail you--then you'll get jail health care, bwahahahaha!"<br />So yeah, I may not agree with all what's going on here and know there's areas to be fixed, but we don't need a gov't run system.
